Teaching My Boyfriend to "sit." I started sitting Teaching My Boyfriend to "sit." I started sitting him on the feed bags so the drop to the ground wasn't far and thus scary. I've worked with him on the "sit" command only 3 times, and, at the pace he learns, I expect him to be sitting on the ground in another 3 sessions. It will take more time (and I'm unsure how much), for him to sit completely with the word command alone. At this point, it does take a little effort on my part but once he's down, he's solid and will stay seated until I bring him forward. #minihorse #horsesofinstagram
Sluggo, #bordercolliesofinstagram #bordercollie, 1 Sluggo, #bordercolliesofinstagram #bordercollie, 11 weeks old, got under the fence and into a #teeswater pen. Her mother, Bow and I just finished working in 90 degree heat. I tried to grab her but couldn’t get ahold and then was afraid I’d scare her or scare the #sheep on top of her. Knowing the sheep were exhausted, I just let her play. This is her first time on sheep and, while it scared me, I just let her do her thing. While I loved watching her, my new job will be to keep the puppies out of the sheep pens until they’re older. #sheepdog
