ANGORA GOATS
Owning the 2009 CAGBA National Grand Champion Angora goat is not the only big win Namaste Farms has had with their goats. In 2009 at Oregon Flock and Fiber, Namaste Farms goat fleeces won "Best Goat of Show", "Best Fleece of Show Honorable Mention," 3 Championships, 2 Grand Championships, and 2 Reserve Grand Championships. Similarly, Namaste Farms showed a single goat fleece at Black Sheep Gathering in 2009 and it was Reserve Grand Champion goat Fleece. Thanks to Sharon Chestnutt of Cloudspun Farms, our original herd of Angora goats is world class. Since then, we have added AAGBA white Angora goats from Tracy Ross and Sandy Erpelding. Angora goats are beautiful, produce one of my most favored fibers and are unique in personality. They require very high nutrition and careful management but are worth the extra care. PYGORA GOATS
Pygora’s are one of the Namaste Farms’ family favorites due to their inquisitive nature and
sweet demeanor. The children love them for their personalities as well as their easily handleable
